Obstacles to Overcome:

• Extremely tight working space
• Drilling between I-76 East, I-76 West, contractor cranes, the
  Schuylkill River, and existing South Street exit ramps

Methodology:

• Slurry drilling utilized for caissons located along the
  Schuylkill River
• Safety was paramount with so many different objects in
  proximity
• Project completed safely, on time, and with no negative
  impact to the general contractor
