Foundation Structures Scope:

• 3 caissons at 72” diameter
• Construction of concrete grade beams
• Construction of hammerhead pier cap with 72”
  diameter columns

Challenges Recognized:

• One caisson located immediately over existing
  underground electrical duct bank
  Solution: FSI proposed alternate locations and drilling
  techniques to install elements as required
• Work area immediately adjacent to active pedestrian and
  vehicular traffic
  The project was completed on time, safely, and with no
  impacts to surrounding traffic!
